Whatever is responsible for the achievement gap in racial demographics, it isn’t lack of educational funding. On a local level in PA, this should be part of the SB1 school choice debate. Many parents who must send their kids to private and religious schools pay DOUBLE, once in property taxes and a second time in private school tuition. This disproportionally affects the financial situation of parents whose children score better on standardized tests (eg, Asians and Whites). How’s that for discrimination.
