Tea Partiers Vow to Keep Tabs on Fitzpatrick

From the Doylestown Intelligencer:

On election night, Anastasia Przybylski handed Congressman-elect Mike Fitzpatrick a gift, something other than the votes she and her fellow tea partiers supplied to help him attain victory.

The present was a pin from the 1964 presidential race that promoted the Barry Goldwater-William Miller ticket.

Goldwater is considered a pioneer of the modern day conservative movement, a politician that today’s tea party movement craves. Przybylski, co-founder of the Kitchen Table Patriots, said the memento will remind Fitzpatrick that “hey, you work for us.”

“We plan on keeping him accountable once he gets to Washington,” she said. “It doesn’t matter that he’s a Republican. It’s how he votes when he gets down there. We’re going to pay attention to every vote.”
