Olbermann Fails on TV – So Make Him a Senator

Keith Olbermann, a far left ideologue, ranted like a madman on his MSNBC “Countdown” show, distorting everything with his biased, delusional views. As his ranting grew more and more fantastical and vicious, his ratings fell. Finally, he has been ousted, raising MSNBC’s image a notch or two towards respectability – though it still has a long way to go.

Proving that Olbermann should have been relieved of his MSNBC duties long ago, his replacement, Lawrence O’Donnell, attracted almost 50% more viewers on his first show than the average number of viewers Olbermann was attracting. The systematic bias at MSNBC made it difficult to get rid of Olbermann because he was a poster boy for their far-left agenda. In the end, even hard-core liberal viewers were tiring of Olbermann’s mania.

So, what do you do with a failed, far-left propagandist? Liberals want to make him a US Senator by running him for retiring Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman’s (I-Conn.) seat. They already have one genuine clown in the Senate, Al Franken (D-MN), and a court jester, Joe Biden, in the White House. Adding a circus barker such as Olbermann into that mix would give Ringling Brothers a run for their money.

This idiocy is a direct result of Obama’s presidential campaign success. His election validated the electing of inexperienced ideologues for public office. The only qualification that is now deemed necessary is a partisan political stance and a favorable opinion from the liberal media. Olbermann has both and is rising on the list of possible candidates for some in the Democrat Party.

It won’t be long before Bill Maher becomes a prospective candidate. He has gone so far over-the-top that he may qualify to challenge Obama in the primaries. Of course, if the Democrats wish to continue to pretend that they own feminism, they will surely find a place for MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on a ballot somewhere. They better hurry, though, because with Olbermann gone, Maddow will have to rave and rant even more to make up for the loss and her head may very well explode in the process.
