Chipping Away at Obamacare

From Politico

The Senate voted Wednesday for the first time to repeal a piece of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul, rolling back a new tax reporting requirement that’s been universally panned by business owners…The provision would have required business owners to file 1099 tax documents on all cumulative purchases from a single vendor that total more than $600 in a year…The repeal would be paid for by requiring the Office of Management and Budget to find the funding in unspent but appropriated funds.

  1. DON'T FORGET Says:

This is the exact agenda the Democrats are pushing and now they can say “see we told you we would change the bad parts……so no reason to repeal the entire bill” and my fear is that many Americans will take the easy way out and go along with this rationale. This bill will prove in the future to be devastating to our economy and most of all provide sub-prime health care for everyone covered. Obama sold government health care saying it will cost less and cover more people. None of those two reasons are true so why did we pass the bill? Ms. Pelosi said it best…..even if we had the best health care for all people and cheaper we would still have passed this bill. So what does that tell you people. Obamacare never was intended to cut cost and provide care for more people. Now think about it…..why then??? If I have to explain you need to go back to elementary school.
