Another Bandaid for the Drug Problem

Our “progressive” society, particularly in California, has no clue how to deal with serious problems so they continue to put Bandaids on the compound fracture that drugs have become. Finding it too difficult to stop many illegal or unwanted activities, the progressive trend is to treat those activities as if they were legitimate. Thus, we have safe havens for illegal immigrants, free syringes for heroin users, legal pot stores, homeless getting funded, and many more “non-judgemental” responses that ignore the root cause. The latest progressive answer is to accept the use of ecstasy at rave dance parties and provide information on how to use the drug in a safe manner. It is only a matter of time before they begin distributing “safe” ecstasy rather than deal with the real problem.
