Italian Supreme Court Insults Justice

The Italian Supreme Court ruled that it is a crime to insult a man by saying he has “no balls.” Despite recognizing the popularization of the expression, the court said “the expression definitely also has an injurious quality”. The infraction will result in a fine for the lawyer who used the phrase in a heated courtroom exchange.

One could not use the same expression for the Italian Supreme Court because it certainly took brass balls to issue a ruling as dumb as this one.
