The Department of Homeland Security is trying to fill an order for thousands of men’s underwear needed for the influx of detainees caught illegally crossing our border. Perhaps a request should go out to Mexico and Central America for help in covering the asses of their citizens who are coming here illegally. Why is it that we get no help at all from these countries? Do we even ask for help, or do we just assume responsibility?
We are being bombarded with people (including hardcore criminals and some disease-ridden) rather than missiles, but it is still a bombardment – and a foreign invasion. Isn’t that a job for our military? Isn’t it time to treat this problem as something more than just a humanitarian issue?
It has already become dangerous and our government has made no effort to stop the flow. In fact, this administration has announced to the world that the gates are wide open. Couldn’t we at least require them to bring a change of underwear? Or is that racist?
