Treason? Really?

July 11, 2017

Sen. Tim Kaine, Hillary’s running mate in her losing campaign, actually said that Donald Trump Jr. may have committed treason by meeting with a Russian lawyer. Kaine is a windbag of foolish hyperbole and this is a perfect example of the ignorant rhetoric being spewed from the left.

First of all, Donald Trump Jr. was a private citizen at the time, not a government employee, who met with a “lawyer”, not a Russian “government official”, and all involved said nothing came from that meeting. There were no secrets or documents bandied about and there are no allegations of any type of agreements being made during that meeting.

Secondly, attempting to get dirt on Hillary is not a crime, a misdemeanor, or anything of the sort. It is just common campaign activity that Hillary and Bill (and Kaine) certainly know about. According to a Politico investigation, Ukrainian government officials were passing documents to Hillary’s campaign in an attempt to help undermine Trump’s campaign. Where is the outrage?

Thirdly, treason is a high crime and it is very rare for someone to be convicted of treason. The last person to be convicted of treason was Tomoya Kawakita, a Japanese-American sentenced to death in 1952 for tormenting American prisoners. Treason is much too serious of an offense to be thrown around indiscriminately for political purposes.

If Tim Kaine wants to accuse someone of treason, perhaps he should look to Jane Fonda. Her actions in Hanoi in 1972 during the Vietnam War fell within the parameters of being treasonous. Henry Mark Holzer’s book, “Aid and Comfort”, is a detailed study of Fonda’s actions and it clearly shows that a case for treason could be made against her.

Had Jane been a Republican or a conservative instead of a far-left liberal, it is easily conceivable that she would have been charged and convicted of treason, spending the rest of her life in prison instead of making millions and being treated as an American icon.

Tim Kaine should put at least one foot in reality. He can keep the other one is in his mouth.

Democrat Denial

June 21, 2017

The Democrat Party is in disarray because they are mired in denial. Grieving from the trauma of Trump’s election, they are wallowing in anger and refusing acceptance. In order to preserve their fictional world of a mainstream liberal progressive agenda, they are blaming everything and everyone but themselves for continuing failure.

Obama’s election and re-election tricked the far left into believing their agenda was fully accepted so they began using bully tactics to force progressive social changes on society. To appease far left voters the Democrat Party shifted further left focusing on progressive social issues and echoing insults of Middle America’s core values. The result was the election of Donald Trump.

Instead of correcting mistakes and trying to reconnect with the American people after the presidential election, Democrats chose an arrogant path of resistance and denial. There has been very little, if any, willingness to accept responsibility for failure. They are placing blame everywhere but within their own party.

Hillary made a fool of herself re-appearing after her defeat blaming James Comey, Russian conspiracies, the DNC, Facebook, misogyny, fake news and voter suppression – everything but her own inadequacies and failing agenda. Her campaign consisted of “making history” rather than making sense while Trump addressed real issues concerning most citizens.

The media, after losing all credibility by being blatantly biased, is also in denial and continues to make excuses for Democrat failure. Rachel Maddow quickly tried to claim that bad weather was responsible for Democrat Jon Ossoff’s loss in the recent Georgia special election. Others are suggesting that he failed to attack president Trump viciously enough as if that is a winning strategy.

Democrats’ response to losing has been a doubling down on attacking Trump and blocking everything his administration attempts. They still believe their agenda is totally acceptable to mainstream America and needs no change. Until they get their heads out of the sand they will continue to lose and, unfortunately, they will continue to drag the country down.

Angry White Man Blames Angry White Men

December 21, 2016

Former president Bill Clinton complained that angry white men were responsible for Hillary’s election loss. In complete denial he also blamed Comley and Russian hacking, totally ignoring Hillary’s flawed campaign or an overbearing progressive agenda. There is always something sad about an angry white man complaining about angry white men.

Those who made identity politics their entire belief system surrounded themselves only with others who were like-minded and became convinced that everyone held the same views. They cannot and will not accept the harsh reality that shattered their “dream” world so they are clinging to denial and spreading blame wherever they can.

Obsessed with racial issues, they embrace black anger along with its resultant violence while blaming white anger for Hillary’s loss. Russian hacking is their second-best culprit even though the hidden, damaging information that came from the hacking was true. Comey, treated as a hero for not prosecuting Hillary, also shares blame for not being totally partisan like everyone else in the liberal bubble – and they are desperately trying to keep that bubble intact.

There has been an embarrassing display of denial along with shameful attempts to somehow undo Trump’s election. Celebrities, out of touch with the real world, are pleading for some kind of do-over, trying to edit reality as if it were a movie. They have reneged on hollow promises to leave the country yet still believe they have credibility with the masses. It would be comical if it weren’t so sad.

Colleges are indoctrinating students on the evils of “white privilege”; the BLM movement is fomenting violence against white cops; Trump is being accused of wanting to bring back slavery; and anyone not in favor of everything Obama does is called a racist. It is no wonder that there is white anger, but it was not responsible for Hillary’s loss. She did that to herself – with a lot of help from the bubble people.

Angry white men, along with many others, voted to stop the runaway progressive agenda and identity politics that Hillary promised to continue.

Mainstream Media Malaise

November 12, 2016

The mainstream media was projected a Hillary win right from the beginning of her campaign even as she struggled for the nomination against Bernie Sanders. More concerned with “making history” than objective reporting, the media blatantly ignored voters’ distaste for Hillary and all the scandals swirling around her.

Sanders’ popularity was treated as an anomaly and dismissed as insignificant. Trump was continually demonized and Hillary was openly supported and praised. Much media “reporting” was based on the belief Hillary should/would win so conditioning voters to that “fact” formed the basis of campaign coverage.

The mainstream media is now shocked and dismayed by Trump’s win but bias continues as they now try to tell us the “country” is angry and upset. They continue with the false premise that everyone thinks as they do even though the “country” elected Trump. Not only are they continuing to demean Trump, they are demeaning those who voted for him and projecting dire consequences from a Trump presidency that has yet to begin.

Focusing reporting on those who are “traumatized”, depressed, and now protesting loudly (and some violently) is a continuation of the media’s anti-Trump campaign. Calls for unity from Obama, Hillary, and others are going unheeded because the media and the far left (redundant?) never wanted unity. They only want everyone to think and do as they say because they know best. This elite attitude is a major reason for Trump’s win.

Polls favoring Hillary were grossly wrong because they, too, were undertaken and interpreted with the foregone conclusion that Hillary would win. Margins of error that could indicate a Trump gain or lead were never interpreted that way. Many polling questions were worded in ways that were favorable to Hillary while suggesting Trump was a misogynist and a racist. Only those polls showing Hillary in the lead were taken seriously – and they were wrong.

The mainstream media went all in with Obama’s agenda and Hillary’s presidential run. They invested their professionalism, integrity, and credibility – and lost. They now refuse to accept that they are in disarray and as broken as the DNC.

This election result was a repudiation of Obama’s administration, Hillary, the media, and the progressive agenda. A clear message has been sent but will it be heard? Don’t bet on it.

Deaf, Dumb, and Blind Hillary

August 18, 2016

Hillary Clinton continued her deaf, dumb, and blind campaign in Cleveland recently when she declared that she was a “no excuse person”. Facing criticism from even some in the liberal media over the many excuses she has offered for her e-mail fiasco, it is mind boggling that she would even go there. Yet, she did.

Regardless of reality, Hillary just keeps framing herself the way she would like to be seen in the hope that the American people will buy whatever she says because…well…because she’s “Hillary”. The media has certainly helped her but she has swept far too much under the carpet for even the most ignorant voter to ignore all the lumps.

Many will still vote for her regardless, but her public attitude of denial is insulting. Ever since she pretended along with Bill that he “…did not have sexual relations with that woman”, her deaf, dumb, and blind act has been a mainstay of her persona and it defines her. She now seems more tone deaf than president Obama and, like Obama, she continues to get a pass.

The only transparency in her campaign is the transparency of her character. She can no longer hide whom she is and she doesn’t even seem to try. The media has allowed her lies to go unchallenged for so long that she believes she can say and do anything she wishes, expecting everyone to just go along. Unfortunately, far too many do just that.

If enough voters continue following her dream, we may end up with a (another?) deaf, dumb, and blind president forcing an agenda that will “transform” the country fully into the progressive nightmare that has already begun. That would bring an end to this “experiment of democracy” that changed the world for the better.

Vote wisely in November.

Stupidity on Parade

August 4, 2016

We are stuck with two candidates for president who continue to say (and do) stupid things. Right now, Trump is beating Hillary in stupidity and may lose an election that he could have run away with had he controlled himself.

Hillary’s scandals, lies, and denials put her in a very precarious position with voters. Long before her recent denial of Comey’s tacit indictment, she was finding it hard to become likeable or believable. Rather than admit any wrongdoing or apologizing for poor judgment, she doubled-down on lies and denial, treating the public like fools.

When she began attaching herself to Obama’s failing policies and adopting some of Bernie’s far-left ideas in a transparent effort to increase her base, it did little more than highlight character flaws that voters were finding distasteful. She was sinking and ripe for the taking.

Donald Trump, however, failed to take advantage. He stupidly continued to shoot from the hip with personal attacks and anything that popped into his head on the spur of the moment. Rather than act presidential and show an understanding and command of the issues, he continued to let his ego run wild and act like an ass.

His response to Khizr Khan’s speech at the Democratic Convention was, simply, stupid. Humbly accepting Khan’s anger for what it was, one of the stages of grief, and showing compassion for his loss would have not only been the high road to take; it would have spotlighted the Democrats’ unsavory use of the Khan family’s personal grief for political purposes. Trump showed nothing but a lack of control and, as a result, his poll numbers and chances for the presidency are diminishing.

The GOP has Trump as a candidate because the other candidates bought into political correctness and the left’s framing of social issues as most important – two reasons the Dems were on their way to losing the White House. In spite of scandals and lying, Hillary remains a candidate only to “make history” and continue Obama’s “transformation of America”.

Perhaps we are all stupid for allowing this to happen.

Fantasy in Philly

July 28, 2016

Fantasyland at Disney World would have been a much more appropriate location for the Democratic Convention considering how much was ignored, denied, and forgotten inside the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia.

The initial dip into Lake Fantasy was spoiled by the forced resignation of the DNC chair, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, after leaked e-mails proved she, and others, had been less than impartial by working to rig the nomination for Hillary. An attempt to ignore it by allowing Debbie to open and close the convention before stepping down failed when Bernie’s enraged followers would not join the denial.

Having no coherent plan to deal with terrorism, the entire opening day of the convention went by with no mention of it – a continuation of Obama’s pretense that terrorism is insignificant. The first day also went by with no American flag onstage as if its presence would have been offensive for many in attendance – and there is little doubt it would have been.

Day two of the convention was all about “making history” and putting Hillary on a pedestal as the first female presidential candidate. Former president Bill Clinton gave a long (very, very long) and glowing recap of Hillary’s entire life; poignantly skipping the years she made a fool of herself backing up his lies about his sexual escapades. That was, of course, the elephant in the room (no pun intended) everyone pretended did not exist.

After vehement liberal media disgust over the mother of an American Foreign Service official killed in Benghazi speaking at the Republican convention, hypocrisy was on display (as always) with glowing admiration for speeches given by the mothers of blacks killed by police. Deliberately absent and ignored were mothers of the many police officers cold-bloodily murdered as a result of the fomenting of violence by black “leaders”. One should also remember the admiration held for Cindy Sheehan by the “impartial” media.

It was noticeable that so many speakers talked about “change” and how Hillary is such a great instrument for change. If the past eight years under the Obama administration were as great as they say and everything he did was so right, why would we need so much change? I guess you have to buy into the fantasy to understand that.

If you want to vote for change in November, it certainly shouldn’t be same old, same old Hillary.

The Fix Is In – Transformation Complete

July 6, 2016

Looking as comfortable as a hostage reading an ISIS manifesto, F.B.I. director James B. Comey let Hillary off the legal hook for “extreme carelessness”, aka “gross negligence”, in her handling of confidential and secret e-mails. Also like a hostage, Comey tried to blink the message that Hillary is guilty and has been lying and obstructing justice right from the beginning of this fiasco. That, however, is too “nuanced” for true believers to see, so Hillary is now free to complete the “transformation” started by Obama.

If American voters are willing to accept this insult to their intelligence in order to “make history” by electing Hillary president, they will then deserve the consequences. Obama set the precedent of ignoring and changing the law from the White House and it has now become standard procedure throughout his administration. If elected, Hillary will cast that precedent in concrete and there will be no turning back.

Comey lamely gave lack of “intent” to do harm as an excuse but that is not the law. It certainly wasn’t the law in 2015 when Naval Reservist Brian Nishimura was sentenced to two years of probation and a $7,500 fine for a very similar incident. In that case, the FBI also determined that Nishimura did not “intend” to distribute classified information to unauthorized personnel, but Nishimura was not a player in the “transformation” so he had to pay.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch set the stage (and possibly wrote the script) for this pathetic play just a few days earlier after being caught having a “secret” meeting with former president Bill Clinton. She then tried to clear the mucky air by saying she would accept whatever recommendations the FBI offered, forcing Comey to do the dirty job for her. Somewhere, former USSR officials are smiling knowingly at the charade.

If this doesn’t wake up American citizens nothing will, and the country is lost.

How Did Trump Rise?

March 30, 2016

Progressive liberals fear a Donald Trump presidency more than conservatives once feared an Obama presidency. They are totally baffled by Trump’s rise and they are laying blame for it on the GOP, the media, and racism. They need look no further than at themselves.

Emboldened by one of their own in the White House and backed by a complicit media, progressive liberals began implementing their idealistic agenda, believing mainstream America was on board. They began forcing wholesale changes much too quickly on society using political correctness, class warfare, and allegations of racism to silence opposition.

While the media blindly praised the progressive agenda and Obama’s policies, mainstream America was busy struggling with a weak economy, unemployment, rising health care costs, increasing racial tensions, threats of terrorism, and illegal aliens pouring across our open border. Progressive liberals ignored these growing problems and continued focusing on social issues.

As Washington became more and more polarized and mired in bitter partisanship, President Obama, seemingly oblivious to it all, concentrated on pushing his personal agenda and building his legacy. He deliberately minimized the threat of terrorism in order to concentrate on “transforming” America. His failure in foreign affairs and his lack of leadership resulted in alienating allies, emboldening enemies, and reducing respect for the United States across the globe.

Since the DNC and the media refused to acknowledge administration failures or curtail changes being forced on society, it was inevitable there would be a backlash. The arrogance of the administration and progressive liberals created a fertile ground for a political outsider.

Ignoring political correctness and daring to speak candidly on issues, Trump addressed the frustration and fear growing throughout the country, increased awareness of our lack of responsible leadership, and pulled many out of denial. His stirring of the stagnant political climate has been a positive.

Trump may be egotistical, abrasive, and obnoxious, but he shocked a numbed population out of a complacency that allowed a progressive transformation to run wild. That transformation is the reason for Trump’s growing popularity.

Trump: The Good, Bad, and the Ugly

March 7, 2016

Donald Trump tapped into the frustration many have concerning lack of leadership and the direction this country has taken. His refusal to bow to political correctness has been a breath of fresh air for a populace weary of rhetorical gymnastics, guarded speech, and fear of offending. He opened the door to realistically discussing illegal immigration, Islamic terrorism, and the runaway progressive agenda – issues that have been blanketed by PC foolishness far too long. This is the ‘good’ that Trump brought to the presidential campaign.

His ego and thin skin, however, cause him to lash out with personal attacks against anyone daring to criticize or challenge him. These attacks have brought a lot of media attention that has helped his rise in popularity; therefore, they have continued and become a major tactic of his campaign. Other candidates have begun emulating the personal attacks in an effort to gain media attention and, consequently, issues and policies are not being given the attention they need. This is the ‘bad’ Trump has wrought.

The entrenched establishment of the GOP does not like Trump and is trying to derail him, splitting instead of unifying the party. Sophomoric insults between candidates along with Mitt Romney’s out-of-character speech attacking Trump have brought ugliness to the GOP campaign – and that can only alienate voters.

Trump may very well end up to be the GOP candidate but he will lose to Hillary if he does not get his ego in check, eliminate the brash insults, and provide substance rather than empty, feel-good rhetoric. He has certainly been entertaining but he is running for president of the United States, not auditioning for a role in a Hollywood movie. We need serious leadership.

It is sad that running for president has become such a circus that only a fool would enter the ring. Thus, we may end up having to vote for Hillary or Trump. This is not the best we can do; it is just what apathy has allowed.
